About The Aussiedoodle
The
reason behind crossing the Aussies and the Poodles was exactly this, most of my
puppy buyers absolutely love their beautiful herding dogs, but many of them hate
the shedding that goes along with the dog. The shedding can be a problem for
some folks, especially those people with allergies…my thinking was by crossing
the breeds we can get a dog that looks like the Aussie with those distinct
beautiful colors, those blue eyes, and that wonderful intelligent brain, mixed
with the Poodle, that are also VERY smart, have similar features, conformation,
and a non shedding quality about their hair coat…the BEST of both worlds! Well,
that was the idea behind this project.
The
Miniature Aussiedoodle is not currently recognized by the American Kennel
Club (AKC), but may earn titles through other dog clubs in the U.S., such as the
American Rare Breed Association (ARBA), Canine Kennel Club (CKC), International
All Breed Canine Association (IABCA), and National Stock Dog Registry (NSDR).
